Choosing how to travel to and from Walt Disney World has recently become more involved. What used to be a complimentary service, the permanently suspended Magical Express has caused families to now consider how they will arrive and depart from the Disney resorts. I chose to hire FL Tours for my May 2022 trip and would like to tell you about my experience.

I chose FL Tours because they are sponsored by The DIS, so I thought I would support their transportation service and give a review. I did pay for the service out of my own pocket, so this review is solely based on my one-time round trip family vacation transportation experience.
EPCOT‘s annual International Flower & Garden Festival is still in full swing and if you haven’t explored the many gardens of the festival, I suggest you check out Bambi’s Butterfly House. Now through July 4th, 2022 this little oasis is a walk-through experience located just near the Imagination pavilion. Let’s explore!
May is National Pet Month! We all love our pets, and when you have a pet, it seems like they’re celebrated every day. Our pets are our family members. Whether you own a pet or not, we can all celebrate National Pet Month – Disney style.

From cats and dogs to birds and chameleons, Disney knows how to create the best pets that we all know and love. After all, it did start with a Mouse! Let’s chat about our favorite Disney pets and how we can celebrate this month, and if you’re in the parks and resorts this month like I will be, be sure to take a picture and post it of you and your favorite mouse!
I love a good challenge. I have an upcoming trip in a few weeks to Walt Disney World, and Pete Werner has called all of us to this “small” challenge: go out of your way to be nice to cast members. And I look forward to this! I’ve thought about some ways I may take him up on this and do some good in the wonderful world of Disney.
I know, Disney wasn’t meant for “chain” restaurants. I’m not Remy; I know he would disagree with me, but sometimes I really don’t like the food on property and sometimes it isn’t a Disney theme I need attached with my food. All of my Disney purists, I know, it’s blasphemy. Sometimes I just want a Dunkin’ donut. Starbucks in the parks has been a great addition for me and my family. So why not more? Remy has “a highly developed sense of taste of smell,” his passion is food and longing to be a professional chef are admirable, but sometimes I just want a decent slice of pizza that is good inside the Disney walls.
My 60 days out came and went last week. This means it was time for me to have access to Advance Dining Reservations for my upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. If it’s been a while, you may want to review what this means for you and how to best take advantage of this opportunity to reserve your favorite dining experiences for your family. And of course, it’s complicated. As an on-site guest, I was able to access this perk for my entire length of stay.
